Kill switch
Stop everything, including closes, with a disarm delay you chose in advance.
What it does
Armed, the kill switch refuses every order through Roaraq, including closing orders. It is the only rule that stops closes. Arming is instant, from the guard bar or the Rules page.
Disarming takes time
The disarm delay is set on the Rules page, from 1 minute to 24 hours. Requesting a disarm starts the countdown; the switch stays armed until it ends. You can cancel a disarm request while it is running, and the switch stays armed.
Why the delay
The kill switch exists for the moment you do not trust yourself. A switch you can flip back at that moment is not a switch. Choose the delay when you are calm.
While it is armed
Manage open positions at your broker. The escape hatch link is on every screen. Stops and orders resting at your broker are unaffected; Roaraq does not cancel them.
It cannot be deleted
Every account has one kill switch rule. It can be armed or disarmed; it cannot be removed.
